Oconto county started cutting the sides of the roads. Today is a beautiful day to save some Monarchs. Look for milkweed in the ditches of Oconto county roads and collect the eggs and caterpillars. It’s perfect chance to learn also because they would die without you!
Note: Monarchs are facing extinction! We need to help any way we can!

The importance of dandelions is undeniable!
I have 5 Red Admiral butterflies by this group of dandelions.
I also saw one on my flowered daffodils this morning.

Incase you have not seen the short video I created this summer of the pollinators in our gardens. These beautiful insects need all the help we can give them. I seen a huge decline this last summer compared to previous years.

Pollinators are one of my favorite subjects in nature. I have a garden that I have created to increase habitat for them.
