Took a trip up to Lamoille on the 18 of August to celebrate the year anniversary of my husband and I’s engagement. He proposed in Park city so this was as close as we could get while being in Elko.

If you see me shooting with this camera this wasn’t originally mine. This camera was my grandpas. It was the first big girl camera I was able to shoot on. I snatched it at a dance competition and after that I was hooked. So much so that the one I have now and have been using for years was actually my graduation present. Now a few months ago grandpa wasn’t doing well and he wanted me to have his camera. At first it was hard, because we knew he wasn’t going to make it to next year. Well he passed on the 23rd of July. That day I went up to be with my mom and I knew I wanted to have some pins on this camera to be a memoriam of everything he did and things I remember him doing. I didn’t expect to have as many pins on the strap I got but I can’t think of it being any other way. Ask about the pins and I will gladly explain what each of them are and why I have them.
