Being a Mother is learning strengths you didn’t know you had…and dealing with fears you didn’t know existed.

This is my oldest daughter with my oldest granddaughter. I am so in awe of my daughter as she has navigated the last couple of years filled with heartache and joy. Her quiet strength is one that I admire greatly.

Life moves so fast! Most days are a blur and I can’t remember what I had for breakfast.

I am trying to take mental pictures of moments instead of being in such a hurry to get into the next thing. Some of the mental pictures this week have been of this little guy doing things that crack me up or when he does things that blow my mind. Before I know it I will be watching him step into adulthood and wish I could just cuddle with him and read his favorite book .

I recently had a conversation with one of my kids about how outsiders try to lay their opinions at your feet. My response was sometimes you have to shut out the noise of what the world is saying you should do and listen to know what you know you are meant to do.

Haven’t posted in a very long time! I recently picked up some studio lighting to stretch my skills. Thanks to one of my kids friends who was so patient as I tried to figure it out for the first time. Now to figure how a few things so I can get it dialed in a little better.
