Graduating⦠how in the world did time pass so fast?!
It starts to hit you when you look back and realize you once held this tiny little baby in your arms, and now suddenly she's standing on the edge of adulthood, ready to take on the world. It doesnāt seem possible.
Her mama and aunt were my best friends in junior high, and before long, their family became my family too. I found out about Kenzie when her mom was around 6 weeks into her pregnancy, so seeing her as a graduate is so nostalgic. What a young woman she has become.
Kenzie is confident, beautiful, smart, compassionate, and stronger than most people will ever understand. The things she has had to endure and overcome are not for the weak. Life has thrown her challenges that could have easily hardened her or broken her spirit, but instead, she met every single one with grace, resilience, and dignity. No matter what came her way, she kept pushing forward. She kept showing up. She kept fighting. And somehow, she still managed to keep her kind heart and beautiful soul through it all.
That kind of strength canāt be taught. Itās built through perseverance, courage, and faith. And I hope she truly realizes just how inspiring she is to everyone who knows her.
I have absolutely no doubt that Kenzie is going to take this world by storm. Her determination, strength, and heart are going to carry her so far in life, and I canāt wait to see all the amazing things she accomplishes.
The world better get ready, because this girl is just getting started. š
