It’s been a little while since I’ve posted over here 🤍 Between traveling, editing, sessions, hosting retreats + events, and all the behind-the-scenes craziness that comes with it, life has been BUSY lately.

But I wanted to pop in and share a little something from my time here in Utah because… are you kidding me?! 🥹

Getting to create in places like this will never get old. Utah has been absolutely unreal so far, and my camera roll is already overflowing with photos I cannot wait to share.

Let’s be honest… being a photographer can be lonely sometimes.

Most of us spend our weekends working, our weekdays editing, and our conversations happen through Instagram DMs.

So we’re changing that.

Join us for a casual evening of meeting other photographers, making new friends, and just getting out of the house. We’ll kick things off with a mixer (snacks, drinks, sweet treats, and a few fun photo spots included!), then head over to Bernie’s Beach Bar for line dancing.

A day filled with quiet moments, city streets, happy tears, and so much love. There’s something so special about smaller wedding days like this. Intentional, intimate, and focused on celebrating the beginning of a new chapter with the people you love by your side.

I don’t want to just photograph what your wedding day looked like. I want to capture what it felt like.

The nervous hands before you see each other. The way they look at you when you’re not paying attention. The laughter that makes your stomach hurt. The hugs that linger a little longer. The happy tears, the chaos, the quiet moments, and all of the little things happening around you that you might not even realize are happening.

Of course, we’ll take the beautiful portraits you’ll frame in your home. But I’ll also be there for everything in between. The moments that bring you right back to exactly how it felt to be there.

This session almost wasn’t an engagement session.

Ashtyn won my 2K follower giveaway, and we originally planned a couples session. Then, just a few weeks beforehand, she got engaged! 💍

So we packed up, drove from the Seacoast to the White Mountains, and spent the evening wandering through fields of blooming lupines while celebrating the start of this new chapter together.

These are the moments that make me love what I do. Getting to preserve memories that you’ll look back on for decades is something I’ll never take for granted.

I say it all the time, but engagement sessions are about so much more than save-the-dates.

They’re about slowing down for an evening and celebrating this chapter of life before the wedding day arrives. Because as exciting as wedding planning can be, it all goes by so fast.

They’re also a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera and connect with the photographer who will be by your side on one of the biggest days of your life. By the time the wedding day arrives, the nerves have settled, you know what to expect, and taking photos feels a whole lot more natural.

Between the laughter, the twirls, and the quiet moments by the water, these two made my job easy. Their love is effortless, kind, and the kind that feels like home.

I can’t wait to celebrate with them on their wedding day. 🤍
