There are SO many little moments packed into a wedding day, and when you’re in the middle of it, you definitely aren’t thinking about all the photos being taken. 🤍

Consider this your little reminder of some of the moments and details you may want documented along the way.

Some are the classics you’ve probably already thought about, and others might make you go “wait, I definitely want that.”

And while these are great moments to have in your gallery, every wedding looks different. Your people, your traditions, the things you’ve spent months planning, and all the completely unplanned moments in between are what make the photos feel like YOUR day.

the people who showed up for you. the details you spent months choosing. the reactions you didn’t get to see. the little moments happening on the other side of the room. the portraits you’ll frame, and the slightly chaotic photos that might end up being your favorites.

I want you to look through your gallery years from now and remember what it actually felt like to be there, not just what everything looked like.

“But we’re so awkward in front of the camera.”

I hear this ALL. THE. TIME. And I promise, you do not need to show up knowing what to do with your hands, where to look, how to stand, or how to “pose.”

That’s literally my job. 🤗

I’m not going to put you in a pose and expect you to magically make it look natural. I’ll give you little prompts, get you moving, tell you when to get closer, fix the tiny things that need fixing, and let the rest unfold from there.

Walk. Bump into each other. Play around. Fix their hair. Kiss. Laugh because something felt ridiculous. Those in-between moments are usually where the GOOD stuff happens.

So if the thought of being in front of a camera makes you nervous, you’re exactly the kind of person I made this for. You don’t have to know how to pose. You just have to show up with your person. I’ve got the rest. 🫶🏻

If you’re new here, hiiii 🤍 I’m Bri.

Photographer, professional third wheel, occasional timeline fixer, location scout, hype girl, and apparently sometimes the person making your marriage legal too 😂

Savi Photos has grown into so much more than me showing up with a camera. I get ridiculously invested in my couples and their plans. I want to know what you’re excited about, what you’re nervous about, what matters most to you, and how we can make the whole thing actually feel like you.

I’m here for the big weddings with packed dance floors, the just-us elopements somewhere in the mountains, and everything in between. I’ll give you direction when you need it, let you do your thing when you don’t, and probably be way too excited right alongside you.

And when I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually with my fiancé and our little zoo, planning our own wedding, traveling somewhere, or finding yet another project I absolutely did not need to start. 😂

Your wedding doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s. 🤍

Get married barefoot on the beach. Bring your dogs. Keep the guest list small. Skip the traditions that don’t feel like you and hold onto the ones that do.

Have your dad there for that quiet moment before everything begins. Exchange vows with the ocean behind you. Sneak away afterward for just-married portraits. Make the entire day feel less like a production and more like your life, just on one of its very best days.

These are the weddings I absolutely love documenting. The big moments, of course, but also the tiny ones happening in between that you don’t realize you’ll want to remember until they’re gone.

It’s been a little while since I’ve posted over here 🤍 Between traveling, editing, sessions, hosting retreats + events, and all the behind-the-scenes craziness that comes with it, life has been BUSY lately.

But I wanted to pop in and share a little something from my time here in Utah because… are you kidding me?! 🥹

Getting to create in places like this will never get old. Utah has been absolutely unreal so far, and my camera roll is already overflowing with photos I cannot wait to share.

Let’s be honest… being a photographer can be lonely sometimes.

Most of us spend our weekends working, our weekdays editing, and our conversations happen through Instagram DMs.

So we’re changing that.

Join us for a casual evening of meeting other photographers, making new friends, and just getting out of the house. We’ll kick things off with a mixer (snacks, drinks, sweet treats, and a few fun photo spots included!), then head over to Bernie’s Beach Bar for line dancing.

No pressure. No competition. Just a fun night with people who get it.
