“Growth happens when you’re willing to reach a little higher.” 🌿🐻

High in the wilds of Wyoming, a curious black bear cub climbs a tree in search of berries—focused, determined, and completely at home in its world. It’s a small moment, but one filled with life, instinct, and the quiet beauty of nature unfolding exactly as it should.

This is why I love being out here… because sometimes the most meaningful moments aren’t the grand landscapes, but the simple, wild stories happening right in front of you.

“Let the ending of the day remind you that even the wildest places can find peace.” 🌅

As the sun sets over Badlands National Park, the rugged formations glow in shades of gold and crimson, transforming a harsh landscape into something unexpectedly serene. Shadows stretch, colors deepen, and for a few quiet moments, everything feels perfectly still.

This is the magic of the Badlands… where even the roughest terrain softens under the right light, reminding us that beauty often appears when we slow down long enough to see it.

“Take a moment to stand still… the world has a way of showing you everything you need.” 🌊

The rugged coastline and sweeping views of Acadia National Park in Maine come together in a way that feels both powerful and peaceful. Waves meet rocky shores, forests climb toward the sky, and every direction offers something worth taking in.
This is Acadia… where the land meets the sea, and every view reminds you just how beautiful the world can be when you slow down enough to see it.

“Baseball is what brings them here. What happens between the games is something much bigger.”

More than two decades ago, I stood at Cooperstown Dreams Park watching my son play baseball. This year, I returned as a grandmother.

What struck me most wasn't the hits, the runs or the final scores. It was watching young boys live with their teammates, trade pins with players from across the country, experience wins and losses, form friendships and discover a little independence along the way.

A week at Cooperstown Dreams Park is certainly about baseball.
But it's also about growing up.

And sometimes it takes returning 25 years later to understand just how much those moments mattered.

Discover the Cooperstown Dreams Park experience through a grandmother’s eyes—a week of baseball, friendship, teamwork, independence and memories.

“Even the smallest light can shine in the most unexpected places.” 🔥

Hidden behind the cascading waters of Eternal Flame Falls in New York, a tiny flame flickers steadily—defying the odds and creating one of the most unique natural sights you’ll ever see. The contrast of fire and water feels almost surreal, like nature reminding us that beauty doesn’t always follow the rules.

It’s one of those moments that makes you stop, look closer, and appreciate just how incredible the world can be.

“Stand tall, even when you stand alone.” 🪨

Rising dramatically from the landscape of Wyoming, Devils Tower feels almost otherworldly. Its sheer vertical columns and powerful presence make it one of those places you don’t just see—you feel.

Out here on the open plains, it’s a reminder of nature’s strength, mystery, and ability to leave us completely in awe.

“Every sunrise is a reminder that you get another chance to begin again.” 🌄

As the first light spills across the Grand Canyon in Arizona, the layers of rock come alive in shades of gold, red, and shadow. It’s a quiet, powerful moment—where the vastness of the canyon meets the promise of a new day.
Standing here at sunrise, you realize… some views aren’t just seen—they’re felt deep within you.

“Stillness has a way of showing you what really matters.” 🌉

The graceful lines of Somesville Bridge reflect perfectly in the calm waters of Acadia National Park, creating a scene that feels almost too peaceful to be real. With the surrounding trees and soft light completing the picture, it’s one of those quiet moments where everything just comes together.

This is why I love finding reflections… because sometimes the world looks even more beautiful when it slows down enough to mirror itself.

“Strength is built over time, one season at a time.” 🌾

Out on the open plains of Montana, these old wooden fence posts stand quietly—weathered by wind, sun, and years of passing time. They may be simple, but they carry a story of resilience, endurance, and the kind of beauty that only comes with age.

It’s scenes like this that remind me… not everything needs to be new to be meaningful. Sometimes, it’s the things that have stood the longest that have the most to say.
