So grateful to have documented this day alongside such a talented group of vendors, and thrilled to say it found a home with Magnolia Rouge. Happy (almost) one year anniversary, Alex and Evan!

Every time I find myself back in their gallery I am reliving the warmth that filled every room of their celebration. This wedding was such a clear example of why couples choose to plan with intention and gather all of their people in one place. It was obvious these two wanted to thank the people who supported them into who they are today, and they kicked off their next chapter with a timeline full of unforgettable memories. Monogrammed napkins, a purse with custom Castle Hill beading, handwritten notes waiting for each guest at the reception, a vintage car, a historic Newport church, the Bride’s Mom’s dress worn as a second look, cannolis on the dance floor, and countless thoughtful details woven in between.

The one word that I walked away feeling to my core about this day is, “wholesome.”

From butter yellow decor, warm embraces, wildflower florals, elegant picnic-vibes, a yellow bronco, soccer on the lawn, raw bar and Italian cake assembled by this sweets-loving sweet couple, the appearance of their pups, and half the guest list changing into linen or wedding pjs to enjoy the s’mores by the fire - this day was truly everything good about bring two families together and celebrating every piece of their personalities. Especially significant when half the crew hopped the pond to cheer on Daniela and Luke. A day fully unscripted, wholly lived, and beautifully joyful… and so very *them*

Cheers to the happy couple and a lifetime of continued adventures ahead!

I’d argue that yesterday Ally & Drew discovered the perfect formula for a summer wedding at Litchfield Inn: soaking your toes in the pool while getting ready, guests that spend the night turning their tongues red from the slushie machine, throwing a a football outside your reception tent and dancing your heart out to an epic band on the dance floor. With so many intentional, heartfelt and emotional gestures and moments in between.

Most important part of the formula seems to being wholeheartedly in love with your life partner and surrounding yourself with people dedicated to cheering you on and hyping you up for today, tomorrow and forever. Grateful to have documented this celebration and all of the festivities.

The best day spent with these two ✨ When Alison and I first connected to plan for their vow renewal on the coast she was deciding between Ocean House and Mystic… and being the true local I am, I obviously suggested the compromise of *both* 😂 Getting to spend my morning and evening laughing with and getting to know them was truly an honor. I love sharing this place with people who live here, people who travel here, and people who have a history here 🤍 our little towns of Watch Hill and Mystic have inspired countless love stories and it’s a joy to capture pieces of those stories.

The kind of day that had us absolutely buzzing still at midnight energized by the magic of it all. The kindness of Amanda and Parker, their incredible family and friends and all of the intentional touches and surprises you could hope for in a day of celebration not a single person who witnessed it in person will ever forget. And I’m grateful I had the honor of capturing these moments for them to share with loved ones and cherish for years to come ✨ and to the incredible team of vendors who came together to make their dreams a reality - thank you!
