🙌I seriously cannot love this family enough.

I’ve known Gage and Lexi from the beginning, and one of the sweetest parts of being their photographer has been getting to watch them grow together, build a beautiful life, and welcome three amazing little ones along the way. 🥹❤️

I’ve had the privilege of watching their story unfold through so many different seasons! But this session felt a little extra special. I got to photograph their family on their NEW property, with the most gorgeous sun-kissed light pouring in around them. 🌅 There’s something so meaningful about capturing their three little ones running, playing, and loving life on the very property where they’ll make so many childhood memories.

Three little personalities. Lots of laughs. A little chaos. A whole lot of love. And the perfect golden light. 😍📸 Gage & Lexi, thank you for continuing to trust me with your memories. Getting to watch the two of you build this life and this beautiful family has truly been such a joy. Lexi Milota

Another sweet family in front of my camera! 📸🤎

There’s something so special about freezing this exact season of life—the personalities, the laughs, the way the kids interact, and even a little bit of the chaos. 😂

Because someday, these kiddos won’t be this little. The snuggles will look different, those little hands will grow, and getting everyone together for a family photo might get a whole lot harder.

So take the pictures. ❤️

They don’t have to be perfectly posed. Your kids don’t have to behave perfectly. You don’t need to wait until you lose the weight, find the perfect outfits, or life slows down.

Your family, exactly as you are right now, is worth remembering.

Not every family session goes exactly according to plan… and you know what? That’s okay. 😉

This sweet family definitely made me work for it! Their littlest one was NOT having picture day, and sometimes when you’re little, you’re just done. No amount of silly noises, games, or photographer tricks is changing your mind. 😂

But in between the tears, wiggles, breaks, and a little bit of chaos… we still managed to capture special moments. ❤️

This family has the incredible privilege of loving on foster kiddos, which makes documenting this season of their family’s story even more meaningful. 🙌 Family isn’t only about sharing a last name or looking alike. This crew was SO much fun to photograph! Lots of laughs, plenty of personality, a little chaos 😂 and so many sweet moments in between.

And honestly, that’s exactly what I love about family sessions.

I don’t need perfectly behaved kids or everyone smiling at the camera the entire time. Give me the giggles, the teasing, the big personalities, the snuggles and all those little interactions that make YOUR family yours.

☀️ Sometimes the most beautiful moments are the ones you never planned to capture. ❤️

The other day, I was heading home from a photoshoot when I found myself waiting on a train. Instead of rushing through the moment, I took a second to soak in that gorgeous Kansas sunset, the grain elevator, and the train rolling through the landscape.

Of course, I couldn’t resist pulling out my camera and snapping this little piece of everyday magic! 📸✨

It’s a reminder that beauty isn’t always found in the big, planned moments. Sometimes, it’s right there in the middle of an ordinary day, just waiting for someone to notice it.

Senior sessions are about so much more than beautiful pictures… they’re about celebrating the people who helped you get here. ❤️
This mama loves her boy SOOO much, and you can feel it in every single photo. She has been his biggest supporter, his loudest cheerleader, and the one standing beside him through every step along the way.

Watching your son grow into the young man he is becoming has to be one of the sweetest parts of motherhood. And while this senior session is all about celebrating him, I couldn’t help but celebrate the incredible mama standing proudly beside him, too. 🥹

These moments go by way too fast. One minute you’re holding their little hand, and the next you’re standing beside them as they prepare to take on the world.
