PERSONALIZED PORTRAITS FOR LIFE'S BIG ANNOUNCEMENTS. We recently had the opportunity to photograph this young man (Landon Keen) as he announced his candidacy for Missouri State Representative, 142d. He was genuinely a pleasure to work with, so professional and thoughtful throughout the session. Instead of a traditional studio headshot, we worked together to create a portrait that reflects who he is and the communities he represents.

📸 A New Chapter for Commercial Street Studio

After nearly six incredible years of owning our downtown building and operating both our photography studio and upstairs guest apartment in Lebanon, we’ve made the decision to sell our beautiful 100+-year-old building. We will officially close the doors to both the studio and the guest apartment on June 30th.

This decision was made with our future in mind — and it comes with exciting new possibilities. As much as we’ve loved being part of the downtown revitalization, hosting travelers, and creating in our studio space, the guest apartment has kept us closely tied to a set schedule and location. By stepping away from that commitment, we’re gaining the flexibility to explore what inspires us most: capturing your stories in the places that matter to you.

Whether it’s your family home, a scenic trail, or a location rich in meaning, we’re shifting our focus to on-location photography — creating authentic, personalized sessions without being anchored to four walls.

We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to have been part of Lebanon’s vibrant and growing downtown community. Our time here has been filled with creativity, laughter, and heartfelt moments shared with clients who have become dear friends. Thank you for letting us be part of your story — and rest assured, our story continues, too.

For now, we’ll be keeping the name Commercial Street Studio — just without the street address. Keep following us here for updates, sneak peeks, new session offerings, and the rollout of our future brand.
