Someone please adopt this sweet boy and give him the forever home he deserves ♥️
Good Samaritan saves dog after he was dumped, gets him to trust humans again. Now she’s paying for him to be neutered so he can be adopted!
This is what Bobbi shared with me:
💙 Looking for the Perfect Home for Boomer 💙
Back in March, a scared and heartbroken dog was dumped near my home in Cleveland, VA. For two weeks, I sat with him for hours every day, slowly earning his trust until he finally felt safe enough to let me help him.
With three dogs already at home and nowhere to keep him, I brought him to the shelter and visited him often while sharing his story in hopes of finding him a family. Unfortunately, no one came for him. When his time at the shelter ran out, I couldn't let his story end there, so I adopted him on June 2nd.
Now, I'm determined to find him the loving home he deserves.
Boomer is believed to be around 2–3 years old—the perfect age where he's still playful and goofy but also loves affection and cuddles. He adores treats, especially peanut butter, and when he's happy, his entire body wags along with his tail. He'll even gently paw at you when he wants attention.
While he tends to warm up to women more quickly, he can absolutely bond with men who are patient and willing to earn his trust. He is selective about other dogs, but aren't we all selective about our friends sometimes?
I don't know what Boomer experienced before he was abandoned, but I know it wasn't kindness. Despite everything he's been through, he has become one of the sweetest, silliest, and most grateful dogs I've ever met. His spirit is no longer broken, and he is ready for a fresh start with someone who will love him forever.
Boomer is currently boarding at SVVS and is scheduled to be neutered on June 25th.
Please share his story. Somewhere out there is the person Boomer has been waiting for, and I truly believe he will make an incredible companion for the right family. ❤️
