|| HOLIDAY CARD MINI INFORMATION POST ||
I'm so excited that this weekend is our Annual Holiday Card Mini Session! I will kick this post off by saying THANK YOU to everyone who signed up. I LOVE seeing everyone each year for these, and all of the festive outfits that you guys pick out.
PLEASE READ THIS POST THROUGHLY, for All the Information! There will be NO group chat via Facebook for these. There are too many families to add everyone, so this Facebook Post (& I will also send as an email) serves as your place for all information needed for your session. Please use comment section below if you have a question!
LOCATION: These are held at: 5385 Millikin Rd. Liberty Township, OH 45011. This is a family friend's private residence ( not a park ) so be mindful of that.
PARKING: The property has a concrete driveway. When you pull in, there will be a grass area to park immediately to your left or right of driveway. The owners have given us permission to park there in the grass. I have attached an aerial view photo of this in the comments below -- please be sure to take a look at it. Park your car where I have the yellow boxes on the photo and walk down the driveway towards the home. You will see me on the left hand side of the home, in the back yard, by the Red Barn. Please do not pull all the way down the driveway to the house. The driveway crosses a creek and if everyone pulls on up into the driveway, there will end up being a traffic jam. I also do not want to block the owner's in if they need to leave! Once you are finished up, please head to your car to make room for others! 🙂
SCHEDULE: I will post the schedule below at the very bottom of this email. Please note, I have backed everyone's time up about 15 minutes. I already had taken into account the time change, but since it's been a little gloomy lately, I want to make sure there's sufficient lighting for everyone, all the way up until the last family comes. As everyone knows, these are every 5 minutes back to back.. So PRETTY PLEASE be on time 🙂 ( around 5-10 minutes early is perfect ). I HAVE to stay on time or else it's a domino effect on the rest of the sessions. If you are late, that cuts into your time slot.
TIME SLOTS/THE WAY IT ALL WORKS: Most of you have done these before, so you know the drill! These are not typical 10-15 minute mini sessions where we do a ton of different poses + tons of shots! If we need the full 5 minutes, that's completely fine - However, once we get your family shot or 2 that you want, plus a few photos of the kids ( if you have children with you ) you will be on your merry way! The 5 minute slot is mainly a place holder for each family so that I stay on track ! 🙂
POSING: If there is something specific you want to do for these photos - ie: a pose you found online or a tradition you do every year, please let me know when you get there! If not, I will pose you how I see fit for your group/family!
PROPS/ATTIRE: As all of you know, I'm usually a prop free photographer! However, if you have something you want to bring.. ie: A Sign, A Blanket, a Festive Bucket you want your toddler to sit on — feel free to bring whatever! As far as attire, feel free to wear your christmas PJs, or Dress your absolute FINEST. Either will look fantastic --these are YOUR holiday cards, so do whatever feels right for your families vibe!
TURN AROUND TIME: I usually try to have these edited and galleries released to everyone within 48 hours so that you can check "order holiday cards" off of your To Do list! You will receive a coupon code to download 3 digital files + option to purchase any additional file if there is more in your gallery.
WEATHER/ALTERNATE DATE: It actually is looking like it may rain on Sunday. I am really hoping that it goes away!! I am fine with a little misting/sprinkling here and there - However, if it is calling for rain ALL DAY, I will be pushing these to the Following Sunday 11/16 — Same times, pending maybe a 5 minute adjustment for sunlight. I am hoping + praying that we do not have to push these out, as I know alternate dates end up not working for every family, unfortuntely. In the event we do have to push to the following Sunday and you are unable to make that date, I will of course hold your $50 credit for you to use towards any future mini session. I will make the FINAL CALL Sunday morning by 9am.
