Fun Shoots for Important Topics

Here's a little behind the scenes from a project we worked on with Lebanon Family Health Services for SAEDR (Substance Abuse Education and Demand Reduction).
Our goal was to create fun, engaging videos that connect with teens about the risks of ni****ne products and other common drugs.

From the initial brainstorming and storyboards to the final shoot, we wanted to make something that felt authentic and relatable—not just another scare tactic.

Throwback to some of the images we captured of Frank celebrating his 100th birthday with the YMCA. He was an absolute joy to be around, and his outlook on life is something we could all take a few notes from.

T minus 5 to launch 🚀

Before our world got turned upside down, we started experimenting with some launch devices to create fun, dynamic shots. Using a little pneumatics and some 80/20, we built a few setups to see what we could make fly.

Drinks were one thing, but loading mustard into a launcher brought a whole new set of problems… and a whole lot more mess. 😂

These kinds of tests are what keep us experimenting, learning, and ready for whatever a project throws our way. They also help us expand the range of creative techniques we can offer our clients.

We love it when clients let us get creative.

The polished, studio look had its time but today people connect with real, raw, fun imagery that feels like a person made it, not a machine. So when the chefs and creative team at Mikes told us to let loose, we did! Bottling up the bright youthfulness of their brand into each shot was the goal. So... did we succeed? And was it worth sacrificing some blue seamless for? You tell us.

Breakfast Never Looked So Fun 🥞

We took a youthful approach to this breakfast shoot, creating fun, playful imagery inspired by those classic Sunday mornings, warm sunlight, pancakes on the table, and kids racing in to grab the first bite.
That feeling of excitement and playfulness was exactly what we wanted to capture in these images.
But the best part of the shoot? Prepping by building multiple LEGO bugs to use as props. 😂 Sometimes the most unexpected details make the most fun shots.

We’re still here!

Some recent projects we never had the chance to share, but we figured now is as good a time as ever.

This year has definitely brought its share of challenges, but one thing hasn’t changed and that’s our passion for creating! Through it all we are continuing to create bold thoughtful visuals that Simone is known for.

So if you’ve been hesitant to reach out, don’t be! We are eager to dive into new projects, new ideas, and whatever creative challenge is thrown our way.

Project Hail Marshall

We’re constantly drawing inspiration from the world around us and great films are always at the top of that list.

Inspired by Project Hail Mary, we set out to recreate the feeling of space using practical effects. By leveraging our new digital display, we’re able to build fully immersive environments right on set no need for post-production compositing. It allows us to dial in lighting, color, and mood before we even begin the edit.

Refined through challenge. Reimagined with intention.

Thank you for all the continued support, and questions about what we have been up to over the past few months.

We are excited to finally show you all our new studio space!

The studio comes with room for multiple sets, a kitchen for cooking, make-up room, edit suite, and everything else you've come to expect on a shoot with Simone!

As we rebuild, we’re bringing even more thoughtfulness, artistry, and care into every frame. This experience has only deepened our passion for what we do and the people we do it for.

While we are moving into this next chapter ourselves, we are still here to help you move into yours.

Long time no see!

We’re so grateful for everyone who reached out with support, and to the clients already getting back on the books.

If you’ve been wondering what’s next for us, we’re back doing what we love: creating content with our incredible clients.

Here’s a BTS video from our first shoot back with DS Stoves. This project gave us the energy and creative boost we needed, and we’re thankful to DS for trusting us to deliver like we always do.

Back to creating with very cool people and it feels really good.

Thank you to the DS Team for trusting us to capture your latest launch, even in the middle of a snowstorm.

And a massive thank you to the SIMONE Team, led by Art, for the hustle and heart. Rebuilding a full production with rental gear, cards, cables, and all the little things we used to take for granted is no small feat.

High five to this crew. Grateful and proud. 🙌
