Here is the gallery link from the Not One More 5k this past Saturday! Reach out if you have any questions about how to download photos!
Saturday I volunteered at the 5k NOM puts on every year. It was rainy and I was cold and I thought to myself “well this sucks” I quickly reminded myself why I was there. I was there because York recovery saved my life almost a decade ago. I remember the days where I was cold, not by choice but because I was living out of my car begging God to just end it.
So, standing there in the cold—this time by choice—I couldn't help but smile at how far I've come.
Watching families gather to run or walk the 5k in memory of their loved ones truly warmed my heart. It’s a testament to the power of community and the strength we find in each other. It’s incredible to think about where I once was and where I am now. I'm so grateful for these moments that remind me of all we've overcome together.
