Nothing like getting to go on a hayride after your wedding with the entire bridal party!!! After the ceremony at the Cussen wedding, we laughed so hard our abs ached, windblown and hanging on for dear life (to the trailer and lashes)...and it was absolutely fantastic. 😂🙌 If you have a chance to do a hayride at your wedding- don't pass up on it!

Good evening, y'all! ❤️

I realized I have quite a few new folks following along with my work so I figured I had better re-introduce myself! I'm Lauren and I am the owner and lead photographer of Laurel Crown Photography LLC.

My business got its name because my name, Lauren, means "crowned in laurel leaves". Not gonna lie, I didn't really know what laurel leaves were for a super long time and finally found out they're bay leaves! So now I like to just say I add flavor to people's lives. 😉😂

I have been practicing photography since I saved up and bought my first point-and-shoot camera when I was 14 and luckily am a LOT better now (make sure to scroll through all the photos here- there are some old GEMS 😂😅😬). I have always had a passion for creating photos, but it's taken 10+ YEARS of learning, growing, and education to get me where I am today.

I absolutely adore taking photos for people and don't see it just as taking photos. I want to create an experience for each and every one of you and create pieces of art that document your life right now right as it is. Something I hear over and over after my sessions is: "I was not expecting that to be fun!!! You made that so easy!!" The majority of my clients have told me they always look awkward in their photos or have never had professional images taken, and I do everything I can to make everyone comfortable so that we get some amazing captures. I direct my sessions, but I'm all about creating emotional connections during our time so I can capture your true lives and emotions. I want to document your life, not a fictional version of it.

I absolutely adore being a photographer and am so excited to keep progressing in my craft and keep connecting with new, amazing people! ❤️ Thanks for following along!!!

These two got married last week and their wedding was SO great! ❤️ It's always wonderful to be a part of a day that is surrounding two people with love and care.

One of my favorite sets of recessional photos ever (and were caught by my amazing second shooter, Jacob)! 😍 I always love the excitement when they have been officially announced as husband and wife! It's absolutely contagious.

Just one of the reasons we only offer our services as a two person deal- there is SO much going on at weddings we want to be sure you get every little detail. At this ceremony, I had to switch to a wide lens to get a big group shot that was requested, so my recessional photos were very zoomed out. Because Jacob was there, we were able to get these stunners at the same time! ❤️🎉
