Important to know when you’re a photographer and you photograph outdoors

Beginning tomorrow (Thursday 8/27) Austin's sunsets are back before 8 p.m. again. By October 14 the sun sets at 7 p.m. and by November 1 sunset is before 6pm. Earliest sunsets of the year don't come until late November through early December.

Love this shot!

Photographer Tiplea Remus Vasile has spent years photographing tiny damselflies and has become deeply familiar with their behaviors. Here, one rests in a leaf hole in Romania. These insects are similar to dragonflies but have slimmer bodies and narrower wings.

Working Wednesday 📸 | Behind the Scenes of a Photographer’s Day
A little behind-the-scenes look at one of my favorite parts of being a photographer—getting to support my local business community!
Once a month, I set up at the Leander Chamber of Commerce luncheon to photograph the newest chamber members. They’re joined by the wonderful Leander Chamber Ambassadors for a fun group photo welcoming them into the business community.
I truly enjoy supporting the Chamber and the work they do to build relationships, grow businesses, and strengthen our community. ❤️
And on this particular day, I got to do even more! I set up for a local school PTO meeting where I met some wonderful families and adorable kiddos who were so excited for the photo op I created for them. 🥰📸
Photography takes me to so many different places and allows me to meet so many amazing people. Supporting local businesses, schools, families, and our community is something I genuinely love to do.
