**A little life update from behind the camera. š¤**
After a lot of thought, Iāve decided to **temporarily retire from photography and videography.**
This isnāt an easy thing for me to say. This business has given me some of the most incredible people, memories, experiences, friendships, and opportunities I could have ever asked for. Iāve gotten to document love stories, families, little moments, big moments, and memories that Iāll genuinely carry with me forever.
But right now, life is asking me to slow down.
Weāre moving, Iām stepping into a new season with my family, and I want to be more present for my kids and the time we have together. I want to pour more of myself into homeschooling them, being their mom, and experiencing life with them instead of constantly feeling like Iām trying to balance a million things at once.
And honestly⦠I need to take care of **me**, too.
The constant pressure, expectations, business stress, and unnecessary drama that can sometimes come with this industry have taken more out of me than Iāve wanted to admit. My mental health hasnāt been in the best place lately, and Iāve realized that I canāt keep pouring from an empty cup just because Iām afraid of stepping away.
So Iām choosing a different path for a while.
Iām choosing my kids.
Iām choosing my family.
Iām choosing peace.
Iām choosing new experiences.
Iām choosing to see what else life has waiting for me outside of the business Iāve built.
This is **not a goodbye forever.** Itās a āsee you later.ā ā¤ļø
To every single client who has trusted me with something so incredibly important- thank you. Seriously. You allowed me into some of the most intimate and meaningful chapters of your lives, and I will never take that for granted.
To the photographers, videographers, creatives, second shooters, vendors, and friends Iāve met along the way- thank you for creating alongside me, supporting me, teaching me, laughing with me, and making this journey what it was.
And to everyone who has followed my work, shared my posts, recommended me, booked me, cheered me on, or simply stuck around to watch this little corner of the internet grow- **thank you.** More than you probably realize.
Iām incredibly proud of what Iāve built. Iām proud of the work Iāve created. And Iām even more excited to see what I can build with my life now that Iām giving myself permission to step outside of it.
For now, the cameras are going down.
The kids are coming first.
And Iām going to go live a little. š¤
**Thank you for everything. Truly.**
