I would appreciate it if you would consider giving my image a like (you vote simply by liking my image, there are other lovely and worthy images, however if you like those it will count against my vote) The contest was to capture the beauty of Ogle County and my image of a white barn with the blue roof during a hoar frost was taken on a gravel road just outside of my town. Voting ends this Friday the 19th. I greatly appreciate it.

The weather should be more cooperative today come out and join us for church in the park at 10am, the Leaf River Daze market at 11am, the Peterson brothers at 12 and the parade at 2pm. The Leaf River Garden Club is fundraising for community projects and we have lots of homegrown plants and I have custom mugs, notecards, magnets & fresh flowers. Stop by and say hello.

The Leaf River Garden Group is hosting a Mother’s Day Plant & Gift sale to raise funds for community planting projects.
Our first service project will be at the Leaf River Fire Dept.
The Sale is Saturday May 11th 9am -noon
205 West Third Street, Leaf River Illinois
All of our plants were organically grown in Leaf River by members of our group.
