How quickly things can change.

A heartbreaking day in agriculture today with the loss of an ag pilot in a crash near our farm. I think I may have taken a video of them flying early this morning over Adeline & Town Line Roads—just west of the Mt. Morris blacktop. It’s hard to believe that could have been one of their final flights.

As someone in agriculture, this hits deep. Ag pilots are incredibly skilled and brave, giving everything—often at great personal risk—to help grow the food that feeds us all. I hope more and more begin transitioning to ag drone flying. Their unique experience, precision, and dedication make them ideal leaders in that space—and maybe, just maybe, it could mean more of them make it home safely to the people who love them.

I didn’t know who you were, but I hope you’re resting in peace. We're praying for your family, your friends, and all who feel the weight of this loss.

In the words of Eric Church:

I know where I'm going to go
Me and Jesus got that part worked out
I'll wait at the gates ‘til His face I see

Christmas is a time of hope, love, and joy because it marks the day God gave us the greatest gift of all—His Son, Jesus! ❤️ Born in humble surroundings, God sent His perfect Son, Jesus, into the world in human form to bring light to our world and save us from sin. 🙏✨

Let’s celebrate this amazing hope today! God’s love is for everyone, and through Jesus, we are offered the greatest gift: eternal life.

Life is fragile, and recent news of loved ones and friends facing unexpected tragedies—whether through untimely death, critical illness, or life-threatening emergencies—reminds us just how uncertain tomorrow can be. That’s why deciding TODAY who your Savior is so important because TOMORROW is never guaranteed.

I share the good news of eternal life because it truly is a matter of eternity—eternity in either heaven or hell. As Jesus said in John 14:6: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
