Have you taken Extended Family pictures recently? This is one of the best ways to get a HUGE variety of pictures all in one session. This family had a son going on a mission, a couple near engagement, new grandbabies, etc. We got every combination of photos each group needed all under the umbrella of an extended family session.
I do 'micro session' of each individual family as well so everyone gets updated pictures not just grandma and grandpa.
Get your siblings together and gift one to your parents this year for Christmas, its the best present when you don't know what to give because they already have everything!

This sweet baby was amazing for his newborn session. He probably gets it from his parents who are so relaxed and easy-going they make every session I’ve done with them easy!I love that they chose this studio to do their pictures in and didn't have to stress in those first few days of bringing baby home if the house was picture ready. There are so many options when it comes to capturing your big moments in life, reach out and I can help you choose what fits your family best whether that's a studio, in-home, or one of many outdoor locations. Different locations give a different feel to your pictures, its so fun to pick what fits you best in each season.

Yesterday I was talking all things in home session for the cold weather, BUT there are still GORGEOUS photos to be had outside this time of year too! This location is one of them that is amazing year round, especially winter because you can skip all the crazy bugs.
All it takes is some warm layers and you can love a session any time of year I promise!

What's the best location in the cold winter months? Your HOME!!!!!! I love all the in home/studio newborn sessions capturing tiny details and the feel of your very own space. Don't get me wrong, I will absolutely be doing some winter sessions outside with the snowy pines and beautiful neutral landscapes that winter brings...but I love coupling that with warm cozy indoor sessions as well. What do you think, would you be up for a snowy session or prefer to stay in your house sipping hot cocoa while I take your picture?

Bear Lake! Ahhhh it is one of my favorite places and has been our family vacation multiple times a year for as long as I can remember. My dad actually grew up LIVING on the beach of bear lake every summer of his childhood!
It has been so fun to be able to offer sessions while I am in town and this extended family session was a dream!
I loved their outfits and the way it complemented the background perfectly...its the perfect location to really keep the focus right on your family!
Who wants to do a session here when I'm traveling next?

Life changes in ALL the ways when your bring home your first baby and its nothing anyone can prepare you for. All the late nights with no sleep, messy clothes, physical recovery, emotional highs and lows...its such a stretching and growing life experience and just what we are here for I believe. Greatfully there are just as many and more moments that are filled with new levels of JOY like you never knew existed and a whole new purpose overcomes you and your life has meaning in ways that are new and unique. It's like a new YOU is born soon after your baby is as you reassess and prioritize things in life like you didn't think you would before. A whole world in that tiny little person comes. Its incredible, and difficult, and beautiful, and confusing, and renewing.
This sweet momma is back to work full time and rocking both worlds as an incredible nurse taking care of everyone else's babies and then running home to take care of her own again. Lets give her some love on this post!

It’s snowing today and getting me excited for all the cozy indoor sessions this season! It just hits different when you get pictures taken in your own space…your own home where all the tiny little memories are made and the living really happens. It captures more than just your people, it captures your whole story and season. Let’s do a session in home and you can get creative and do the things you already do together…play a card game, build blocks, make cookies, etc. The storytelling photography will mean so much to you when you have real life captures beautifully.

How have I not posted this session yet?! I love love love when you guys refer me to your people...most of my sessions come from client referral and that means the WORLD to me that you trust me and recommend me to your friends and family. It is so fun to get to take pictures of people and connect them with friends I have made at previous sessions. I feel like I get to jump in on your circle of friends every time I find out you know someone that I've taken pictures of before.
This couple was one of the last sessions I did before the seasons changed and it was such a good time getting to know them and getting excited to shoot their wedding next year!

Did you catch my MINI sessions this year? I love me a full session but this year I threw in some Fall MINIs and you guys showed up! It was such a fun night meeting so many cute families and capitalizing on all the fall leaves in their peak week. Tell me what your prefer 👇 ...MINIs or FULLs or some of each. I will always be a full session girl because I love the chance to get really in the moment and add variety with background changes, but I can TOTALLY get on board with some minis again if you guys love them too.

This mommy & me session was so sweet. Sometimes you need to just go get the pictures even if your husband isn't on board (enter hunting season 😉) I want to capture your family any way you can get it....sometimes its just a milestone shoot or a mini session...what matters most is preserving those little people and yourself just as you are in this season.
Everything changes SO fast. This is your reminder that you will want to remember this stage, and the next and the next. Make getting pictures part of your family culture and it will be easy to get everyone on board every year after you just start...its such an awesome way to bring back beautiful memories and I promise I will make it an experience your kids and husband won't mind coming back for!
