Chingri Malaikari - Tiger prawns in a coconut mustard gravy.
Always wanted to make this Bengali delicacy. Finally made it - and the kitchen smells amazing.
It was a hit with the hub. The bub still needs to develop a liking for mustard paste ☺️
Happy with the outcome.

The Thunderbirds during their practice session today over the boardwalk and the ocean. What a thrill it was to see them in their formation ….. flying across the ocean and then high up above vertically into the sky.
This is just them practicing….. cannot wait to see them in 2 days at the airshow ‘Thunder Over the Boardwalk 2023’.

A fusion between Borani Banjan from Afghanistan and Doi Begun from Bengal - fusion because I did not use tomatoes ….. but, garlic was used.
It was a nice accompaniment to the cabbage pulao that was made for dinner.

Forgot to post yesterday 😬

Elly was sitting on the couch with a dragon soft toy. She said her goodbye to us with a promise to visit again next year. She left a little early as we were going away for the weekend.

We love you Elly and will miss you. Looking forward to your visit the next advent season. Until then ❤️

Today we saw Elly in her soccer/football gear (christmas colors) sitting on her box of jewels 💎 with a goalpost for a background. Her trusted friend Grogu was beside her with his Santa hat on. She is all set for the FIFA World Cup 2022 final today.
So far a great game. Lil Miss is torn - she loves both the countries…… France 🇫🇷 has the Eiffel tower and Argentina 🇦🇷 is close to her heart as she had done a Christmas project on the country in Elementary school. May the best team win!!!
