Thinking of this Charleston wedding since I’m heading back to the low country next weekend to photograph a wedding and family session.

Jenna and her bridesmaids got ready at her mom’s historic Charleston home while Brent and his groomsmen prepared at The Wild Dunes Resort in Charleston, SC. Jenna’s custom designed gown made statement with a one of a kind train created from a veil.

They exchanged vows during a dreamy rooftop ceremony overlooking the coast. The pastel rainbow of Boardwalk Inn was the perfect backdrop for wedding party and family portraits. Then just before sunset, I was able to take Brent and Jenna down for some beach portraits.

What a beautiful fall day to be on the coast photographing this special wedding.

The day started overcast and misty as the groomsmen got ready in Midtown and the bridal party got ready at the bride’s childhood home. The sun came out and the clouds opened up at the perfect time for first looks!

This couple was overflowing with joy the entire day and Michael surprised everyone at the reception. He borrowed the band’s electric guitar and began playing a song for his bride, Allycyn. The kind of wedding moment that becomes a core memory. 🤍
