I can already picture the kiddos playing the keys while mom & dad watch, everybody piled around it, spinning your babies around, dancing, laughing… just all the sweet little in-between moments 🥹

Okay, the couch minis turned out SO good for Mother’s Day that we’re bringing them back for fall! 🤎

If you missed the gold couch minis this spring, here’s your chance! We’re switching it up with a gorgeous red vintage couch & all the pretty fall foliage colors 😍

And from a mama, I know everything is expensive right now. Groceries are ridiculous, back-to-school just happened & somehow just leaving the house costs $100 🤣

But I also know how fast these kids grow 🥹 & I don’t want updating your family pictures to be one more thing you have to skip this year.

I just realized I never shared peeks from my very first Summer Lake Sessions 🥹

These turned out even better than I imagined & I had the sweetest families to kick off what I hope becomes a new tradition! ☺️

I loved watching the kids splash, parents slowing down for a minute & capturing all those genuine little moments in between 🥺 These are definitely some of my favorite sessions I’ve photographed!

I think it’s safe to say Summer Lake Sessions are here to stay & will be back every year!

And for anyone who missed them this summer… I’m seriously thinking about opening a few lake sessions this fall while it’s still warm enough to enjoy the water! Drop a like or comment if you’d be interested in seeing these brought back! 🫶🏼

PSA FRIENDS‼️📢

Ok can we all agree that if you’re contacting a photographer… maybe check what state they’re in first? 🧐

I’ve had SIX of these nearly identical messages this week. Different profiles. Same script. No personal photos or posts on the profiles.

🚨 Photographer friends!
Here’s what I’ve noticed: it’s most always a daughter’s birthday, quinceañera, family reunion or even sports related. They’ll ask 1 or 2 basic questions (usually your location or availability) but then they don’t actually care about your answers. They skip right over your pricing, your availability, your location (everything a real client would want to know) and instead they’re eager to “book” & ask how they can pay.

THAT’S where the SCAM is! They’ll try to either send a fake check for too much money & ask you to refund the difference or pay another “vendor” for them. It’s always a check payment. Eventually the check bounces & you’re out any money you sent.

Just wanted to spread the word! 💛
Have any of my fellow photographers been getting these lately? 😩😵‍💫 For me, they come & go and I’ll get blown up (as I have this week) & then go months and months without any.

It’s been way too long since I’ve shared a ‘before’ & ‘after’. These are one of my favorite things to post because they show that the magic isn’t just in clicking the shutter, it’s in the editing too.

My goal is never to make your family look different. It’s to bring the moment to life ✨
