Happy New Year from Jennifer Duvall Photography! Back in 2024, I announced I was stepping away from photography for an unknown amount of time. As I continue my hiatus, I just want you to know that I have not given up on returning to my business at some point down the road. Right now, I have to focus on things in my personal like. This year though, I plan to work on my website and to finish cleaning up my page. That was my plan when I stepped away from photography but life got in the way.

If you are in need of a photographer, please reach out and I will recommend some amazing ones for you! If you need a mentor to help you learn your camera, contact me. I still love working with individuals one on one and would love to connect.

Lifestyle Newborn Session

This intimate session will last at least anywhere from 2 - 4 hours in your home, and is a great way to capture life with your newborn. As you interact with your newborn, who should be between 1 - 10 days new, I will be on the sidelines taking various photos. I strongly encourage you to consider including siblings and grandparents! Photographs will be taken on furniture such as couch, bed, crib, bassinet, etc. Natural lighting will be used, so it is important the session is scheduled during a time that optimal light is available. An in-home consultation may be requested to ensure there will be enough natural light in the house during the session.

Session Cost - $400

*Sales Tax will be added to Session Cost*

You will receive in digital format all processed images.

Jennifer Duvall Photography is currently offering Photography Mentorships for the following areas:

Camera Functionality - Learn the basics of your camera, understand Manual mode, and hands on learning.
$150 for 2 hours - During this session, I will go over your camera basic functions and teach you the concepts for using Manual Mode on your camera. Learning Manual Mode and how to take control of your camera will allow you to be more creative with your photos. You will have time for hands on shooting. Follow up sessions are recommended.

Lightroom Basics - Learn the basics of using Lightroom with RAW files (You must have a licensed Lightroom product already installed).
$200 for 2 hours - During this session, we will go over the very basics of Lightroom and work on editing 1-5 RAW images. Follow-up Sessions are recommended.

Business Basics - How to start a legitimate photography business.
$100 for 1 hour - During this session, we will discuss everything you need to do in order to operate a legitimate business (sales and use tax, income taxes, business licenses, website, etc). Usually the initial 1 hour session will be more of a Question and Answer session and getting to know you. Follow up sessions are recommended.

Beginning January 2023, I will be cleaning up my computer and archiving client files from 2009-2020. When I do this, I will be archiving them on external storage and cloud storage. In the past I have not enforced the fee to obtain photos from archival storage. But after 2022, there will be a $50 fee in addition to any other charges for prints or digital files. If you are in need of prints or extra copies of digital files, contact me as soon as possible.

Had a fun session at Liberty Hall last week with the Barkers! Such a sweet, wonderful couple. I enjoyed working with them. They were such good sports, it was so cold! I could not feel my fingers by the time we finished. 😁🥶
