PINK OUT 🩷🏈🎀
One of my favorite events to photograph every year. 🥹
A huge thank you to Watervliet Youth Football & Cheer for having me back to capture their annual Pink Out game against Coloma! I absolutely love being able to document this day but even more than the football, cheer, pink uniforms and all the fun that comes with it, I love what this day represents.
Watching two communities come together, fill the field and stands with pink, and rally around a local family is something pretty special. 🩷
There were SO many moments from this day that I’m glad this family will have to look back on the support, the hugs, the emotion, the kids playing for something bigger than themselves, and an entire community showing up for them.
Thank you again, Watervliet Youth Football & Cheer, for trusting me to capture such an amazing event and such an important day. I’m always grateful to be on the sidelines, but days like this remind me that sometimes what I get to capture is so much bigger than sports. 🥹🩷
