A: I can understand wanting to know pricing without having to ask, I honestly can but you will not find my prices listed anywhere for public viewing for several reasons. Type of shoot, number of people, location, time, etc all factor into pricing. Just shoot me a message and I will be happy to answer your questions! Q: What is the best time to book my newborn session? A: Within the first 14 days o
f life to ensure your baby sleeps throughout the majority of the session. Babies this young are more likely to stay curled up into the cute positions you see. They are more tolerant to being moved and posed. If your baby is older than this time frame, don't worry. I can still capture some beautiful shots for you. It will just take more effort from both ends and some poses will have to be skipped. Q: Do you provide all the props? A: For newborn sessions, yes. All other sessions, no. Q: How long will it take to get my pictures? A: Depending on which package you go with, that time can range from 2-4 weeks. I edit sessions in the order that I take them. Q: Should I book my session months in advance? A: You don't have to, but I encourage you to do so at least 6-12 weeks before the date you want to ensure i am available. Q: My baby is shy and I'm afraid he/she will cry, what if that happens? I take my time and allow your baby to get comfortable, we go at their pace to make sure it's enjoyable for them too! I just ask that you make sure your baby is fed and has had his/her nap. Skipping on naps will make your baby not too happy during the shoot. Q: What should I/we wear? A: I like to let you decide that :) the only thing I would suggest to avoid is busy patterns and logos or big words on clothing. Color coordination is always appealing to the eye! ;)
Q: What should I bring? A: If it is a studio session, usually nothing since it is done at my home studio. For outdoor sessions I recommend to bring plenty of drinking water (especially with this heat)
Q: I want to do some specific poses, is that okay? A: Of course! I encourage people to direct me to certain poses! I'm always up for trying new things! Q: I want a maternity session, when is the best time to take them? A: I recommend 30-37 weeks. You want your belly to be big and round, but not too big or heavy where it'll make certain poses uncomfortable. Of course some women want to capture the beauty of the very last days of their pregnancy and I'm okay with that too. Q: What is the best time of day to schedule my outdoor session? A: Golden hour the 1-2 hours before sunset is the best time. You get an amazing warm glowing light. If there is any questions I didn't answer and you've wondered about, please feel free to ask me! I am more than happy to answer them!
