Laura Zylinski Photography SPORTS PHOTOGRAPHY I have always felt that photographs tell the story of our lives. I will forever be grateful for that moment in time.

Photography reveals the soul, similar to the way a powerful writer can reveal the inner thoughts of a character. I have endured extreme tragedy in my life, in ways that I cannot fully fathom. After a tragic motor vehicle accident in November of 2020, kismet arranged for me to connect with a local photographer whom I had admired. He took me under his wing, becoming my mentor and the catalyst that h

elped me to navigate the new world of digital photography. In my photography, it’s really important for me to capture the happiness, the love, the heartbreak, the competitiveness, and the connections of the spirit. I have recently moved outside the realm of sports photography and into the realm of family portraits, weddings, and social events. These have been fun events, rooted in joy, which I have found to energize my spirit.
