This past weekend I had the most amazing experience. On Friday, May 1st, one of my bestest friends in the whole world married her partner of 25 years. I not only got to be there to witness it, I was honored to be the one officiating it. 💗 A friend came with and helped with covering photography during the ceremony, then I got to jump back behind the camera where I belong (lol).

Congratulations to Michele and Jay! You both are absolutely amazing humans and you have such a beautiful love between you. It has been such a privilege getting to know you both over the last nearly 10 years and having you as my soul sistah (and now soul brothah lol). I can't forget to mention their amazing daughter Ally either! I seriously adore you all! 💗

Also, this was officially my third state to photograph a wedding in and I'm now officially ordained and able to legally marry people! Yay for the Universal Life Church, lol.

As portrait season really begins to take off, I've been receiving a lot of questions from clients. I decided to simply share a little life update here, since it seems so many are curious on where I stand with my photography business.

Am I still doing photography?

Yes! I don't think that I'll ever stop doing photography. I absolutely love working with my amazing clients, capturing their many beautiful moments. The joy that comes from a simple session is something that I can't find elsewhere. But! I don't rely on photography as my only source of income anymore, so I'm not out there hustling. If you want to work with me, I'll happily work you into my schedule. This fall will look a little different, and I'm still not sure how much portrait work I plan on taking on. I'll figure that out later on this year when, ya know, its last minute. I will forever be that hot mess procrastinator. 😉

Why am I stepping back from full time photography?

I've been teaching full time at SUN Tech since Christmas. It has been the best work experience I've ever had. I always loved educating others; the joy of sharing my knowledge is something I'm truly passionate about. Watching young artists grow and thrive is so incredibly amazing. When I'm not teaching, I'm still photographing houses for 360 Tour Designs, my second business. That leaves only a little bit of my time left to spend with my babies, who are growing so quickly. My children and my dogs are my entire world, and I'm trying to be as present with them as possible.

All that to say, yes! I would love to still work with you! I'm not posting as much, but I'm still loving the sessions I'm doing. I hope life is treating you all well and I cant wait to see you in front of the camera again! 💗

Time is one of those things we always wished was different. We want it to go faster when it's a less than ideal circumstance, or we want it to slow down when we realize how fast it's moving. That being said, I'm placing my time above all else.

Effective immediately, my time for photos will be limited to just sessions that are 15 minutes and it'll cost $5,000 for a session. Photos will not be included, as my time to edit the photos I take is even more valuable. Photos will be available for purchase for $100 a photo. Also, I dont want to photograph your children. My children are feral enough, I don't want to see your kids acting all silly goosey and cutesy. Leave them at home, idc.

Storm season 2026 is off with a bang! I popped my drone into the air and caught so many beautiful lightning bolts this afternoon. But this is by far the best I've ever captured. Enjoy!
