I’m preparing to welcome my last newborn to the studio today before I get to do this with my very own! It feels a bit surreal to have made it to 34 weeks pregnant so quickly. I’m looking forward to a busy July before having the month of August off to welcome Lottie Faye into our family. However, it has been so hard to turn away expectant mamas for that month.

This session sings a song of summertime for me - the classic white on denim pairing, glowy sunshine, picturesque water, and cutie grins of sweet kids call us back to our own childhood.

With the 4th quickly approaching, I’ve been reminiscing on some of my favorite memories with friends while growing up. We’d watch the parade, visit the festival, swim and ride go carts at Aunt Kathy’s, then go back to the festival in time for fireworks. It was one of my favorite days of the whole year. I pray my own kiddos get to make the kind of friendships that I was blessed to have then and now.
