Finally getting around to posting another one of the photos I took while down at my local lake during blue hour. I love the mood, the colors, and some of the grain even. Maybe a little dark and ranging a bit into the blue territory but otherwise I absolutely love it.

It was getting dark on top of it being overcast and I nearly talked myself out of going. Despite my desire to simply enjoy a walk, I found myself bringing along my camera anyway. I do not regret it. It brought me a joy and a sort of weird calm shooting the lake with the fog. I won't deny the excitement I felt when the geese floated across the frame. And honestly, I really enjoy the high ISO grain in the images. It adds...a sense of calm, mental peace. Or I just think it looks cool. Regardless, I had a blast. I look forward to feeling this way again.

I took this shot on a whim while taking a walk with some friends last fall on a brisk, sunny morning. The center focus are the drying berries of the American Pokeweed set to a background of what I believe is a Northern Spicebush, which always has beautiful yellow foliage. Don't quote on the species though, hard to say.
