Teneka is one of THE kindest people I have met and she’s a bad A$$ in the water. Very few people ever get to hear the power of a swimmer… her kick is so POWERFUL!!! It was so much fun to incorporate her Australian heritage into her underwater photoshoot.

Her strokes are free and fly. It’s not a surprise that her swimming career highlights look like this:

She was UNLV’s Swim Team Captain 22-23. In 2021 MW CONFERENCE CHAMPS - Mile Champion, 2nd in the 200 fly. In 2022 MW - 2nd in the Mile, 3rd in 500 free. In 2023 - 2nd place 4x200 free relay (she swam the anchor leg)…. Top 8 (a final) for all three individual events - 200 fly, 500 free, mile. Also in 2023 Senior recognition award recipient! She’s 4th all time fastest in UNLV history for mile and 200 fly!!! And she’s 5th all time fastest time in 500 free in UNLV history.

She graduates from UNLV’s Greenspan College of Urban Affairs - Journalism and Media Studies.
