My neice is graduating this week and I’m so freaking proud of her, but it got me thinking about how I felt as a senior so here’s my ode to the high school seniors who resonate 🖤
High school Grad season is here and I know y’all are excited but I wanted to let you know I know it’s a chapter ending and emotional, exciting, and sometimes a little scary ending a chapter in life but remember, you’re young.
This is the beginning, some of your class mates know(or think they know) what career they want to endeavor and good for them! But if you’re feeling like something’s wrong with you because you don’t, dont!!
Life is a journey, we have to figure out what we want to do in life and lots of time we stumble on it by doing things. Just keep pursuing the things that make you happy. It doesn’t have to feel like hard work either. Every career has its ups and downs but your main goal for pursuing the thing should be that you’re passionate about it! Please do not get into something because of the money you can make! Money comes and goes but how you spend your time is the most important because time is the one resource that can’t be replenished!
Dream big and don’t let anyone tell you that it’s too far out there, the only person who knows what you’re capable of, is you(and there’s always room to grow)! also take time to celebrate, to slow down, there’s no rush if your main goal is to enjoy your life!
Congratulations!!! I’m so proud of you! Don’t downplay your success and never be the one to say no to yourself! And with that a few book recommendations for growth💫 (I use audible so I can listen as I drive, do chores etc)
