Eric and Trachette (aka Trish) met in elementary school and as Eric's mother likes to say "he chased his bride until he was caught." The couple have two amazing sons, who can hold their own when it comes to the camera. Christian and Caiman are truly Eric and Trish's pride and joy. Christian is 20 years old and has a knack for getting even a curmudgeon to laugh. His humor is a bright light in the

Stakley house. He is actively encouraging a healthier lifestyle for his parents. One look at him and you know he takes his visits to the gym seriously. Eric and Trish have recently committed to take him up on his challenge and will let you know how that goes...

Caiman is 17 with a voracious appetite for reading. He loves photography and is hoping to combine those skills with his love for the written word. Caiman has a unique perspective and that comes through in his images. He has been recognized for his photography and writing skills and is hoping to add to his collection of awards this year as a senior in high school. Eric has quite a few surrogate children who have taken his photography class. Trish supports his efforts with the kids and many affectionately call her Momma Bear. These kids, including his own two sons, keep him on his toes while he teaches them every phase of photography. The students don't just rock with digital photography. Before they can touch a computer they shoot with film and do their own developing in the dark room. Eric has mentored more than a few children is proud of his award winning program. He loves it when a parent tells him how much photography means to their child and it was the outlet they needed. He has countless letters from students thanking him for the time and energy he invests. As a couple, Trish and Eric believe that investing themselves completely is the only way to approach any task. My partner in business more importantly, my partner in life, my wife of 30 years. I knew she was special when I saw her on the playground in elementary school. She has been special to me every since. Happy Anniversary my dear wife!
