I know for most people, it is spooky season, and everyone is watching scary movies. For me, it's wedding season. I love nothing more than to watch wedding movies, especially romcoms, while I edit weddings. It's almost become part of my creative process 😆 A few of my favorites are 27 dresses, bridesmaids, my big fat greek wedding, and, of course wedding planner. Invitation suits are the first real design point of a wedding; it is the first impression guests get of a wedding, and I always love it when they incorporate bits of the venue and a couple's style. I start out every wedding photographing the invitations. It helps me get acquainted with the wedding style and gets my creativity started!

Red rocks have my heart. It might be the rock climber in me. I am not sure.... But I will never get tired of shooting around red sandstone cliffs. The red combined with just the right colors make for such a stunning photo. I just got home from a beautiful Valley of Fire elopement and my heart is so happy.

Saying I do under a Joshua Tree ❤️

Something I am seeing more and more couples doing these days is having a private ceremony and then heading off to a celebration with family and friends. I love this idea! It is a beautiful way to incorporate a celebration with the community that will support them throughout their marriage but also allow for an intimate and private wedding.

It's been a while since I have said hello on my neglected little corner of the internet. I am Rachel! Owner and Photographer here at Rachel Fuller Photography. I love this art, and I love this little life I get to lead. Thanks for being here and helping me make it all happen.

I recently took one of those personality tests. Turns out I am an Enneagram 9. I am a lover of peace, creativity, and harmony. I hate stress and conflict. It all makes sense. I recently had someone ask me why I do wedding photography since it seems so stressful, and I am not one for stress. It was a good point, but with a good plan and a good team, it doesn't have to be so stressful. My love of people and the laughter and connection you get on a wedding day make it all worth it.

I am also a mom to spunky little girls. It is my favorite job in the world. I love to travel, play outside, and eat chocolate. After a long day my favorite comfort show is The Office, and I am stressed out by the idea of a reboot.. no way they will do the show justice.

I like to include black and white photos in every gallery I deliver. Black and white photography has such a timeless and elegant quality to it that I love. It creates depth and variety in each gallery. I feel like the black and white images reduce distractions and create an unmatched mood in photos.

It has been a whirlwind few weeks. Weddings nearly coast to coast. I've driven around 2,000 miles this month alone. Photographing two incredibly beautiful weddings as well as many of my past couples' families, has been such a treat. Before I dive into all the new images, I thought I would post one of my favorites... not that a photographer can really choose favorites from all their art. I hope everyone's week is off to a great start.
