I feel like my little community is really expanding, and it feels so good.
Getting to know everyone, hearing about your families, your milestones, what matters to you - it genuinely makes this work feel like something special.
I'm surrounded by incredible people. That's not something I take for granted.

Here’s the real reason I photograph headshots.

I’ve seen firsthand how much it means when someone looks at a photo of themselves and actually feels seen. Not polished. Not performative. Just - them.

When that clicks, something shifts. And honestly? That moment is everything to me.

The LinkedIn update is just the excuse. The feeling is the whole point.

The Desert National Wildlife Refuge feels like stepping into another world—peaceful, open, and full of life. It’s one of the few places near Las Vegas where everything slows down, which makes it such a beautiful location for relaxed, natural senior portraits. I’m incredibly grateful to be approved to photograph here and to help preserve it exactly as it is.

I’ve been thinking a lot about presence lately.
What it looks like. What it feels like.
How hard and beautiful it can be to slow down.

Scrolling less has helped.
So has standing barefoot on cold patio pavers in the sunshine.

So has watching families through my lens - reminding me of how much magic lives in eye crinkles and messy hugs and the way someone always gets caught mid-laugh.

Even when there’s chaos, there’s joy.
Even when it’s not perfect, it’s real.

And real is where love lives.
