Grateful to share that I’ve officially completed ASIST (Applied Su***de Intervention Skills Training) through the Nevada Office of Su***de Prevention. 🤍

This experience means a lot to me as I continue my NAMI internship while working toward my Criminal Justice degree. Learning how to better recognize, respond to, and support individuals in crisis is something I’ll carry with me both professionally and personally.

As a DV survivor, my own transformation is why I’m passionate about helping others find empowerment through fitness and self‑awareness. 💪

Mental health advocacy and community support are deeply important to me, and I’m thankful for opportunities that allow me to grow, learn, and give back. One step at a time. 🌱

This journey was deeply personal for me. I didn’t make the top 5, but placing 7th is still something I’m proud of—and the reason I did this matters far more than any ranking.

I participated in this competition in honor of my mom and her mom, both of whom we lost to cancer. Carrying their memory with me throughout this experience gave it a purpose beyond myself. Being part of something that raises awareness, supports families, and funds cancer research truly meant everything to me.

Thank you to everyone who voted, shared, donated, and supported me along the way. Your love and encouragement helped honor their legacy, and I’m forever grateful. 🤍🎗️

What fuels your passion for health and fitness?
As a DV survivor, fitness became my lifeline. Instead of relying on prescriptions, I chose to work out and focus on my physical, emotional, and mental health. Training, meditation, and earning my CCW gave me strength and confidence to reclaim my life. That transformation fuels my passion to inspire others to find empowerment through fitness and safety.

What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?
I love kettlebell training paired with hot yoga and meditation. Strength training builds power, yoga improves flexibility, and meditation keeps me grounded. These practices, along with self-defense awareness, helped me heal and continue to give me balance and resilience every day.

What would you do with $20,000?
I would create a safe, empowering space for survivors and anyone facing challenges—a wellness program blending strength training, yoga, meditation, and self-defense education. Fitness saved me, and I want to share that gift of strength and confidence with others.
