Took myself to Japan for a week last month to celebrate 3 years of being a full time freelancer.

I spent so much of my adult life dreaming to live the life I do now. I couldn’t have done it without having a full time job that ultimately pushed me to take the steps to do this full time.
Though most days I tolerated my 40hr work week, I was always longing to be creating. I’d spend weekends taking on gigs & shifting my schedule at IKEA、desperately trying to make both work. I found myself adding another 36 hours of work on top of my 40hr work week at the Big Blue Box.
But every thing was worth it. All those years dreaming truly led me to where I am now. I believed in myself long before others did & that power is a different kind of magic I can’t quite explain.

I spent that week silently celebrating to myself over all I’ve accomplished in the last 3 years. I took photos for fun of everything I love & allowed myself to truly enjoy photographing for myself again. They don’t tell you to be wary of making your passion your job or effects it’ll have on your mental but each & every time I’ll choose this over my previous reality.

Because now I get to actively participate & live the life I always knew was meant for me💖

I came to Kamakura as a child & always knew I wanted to some day return. I needed a quiet escape from Tokyo & to feel a bit of nostalgia for my life once lived in Japan.

My previous trips to Tokyo didn’t leave me with enough time to visit but this time I made it a point to get out to the coast. Getting up for the early train is always worth it (honestly the earlier the better). We only barely scratched the surface, but took our time wandering the streets & taking pictures. 💖

We stopped at the for a quick seaside breakfast.

We wandered around temple where we even got a little surprise guest of light snow along the way!❄️

Sometimes your favorite places are the unplanned ones you find along the way. We took in the serene views at . The gardens & overlooks of the city were my favorite part!

And we finished off our time in visiting Yugihama Beach. I stood on the shoreline searching for seashells (typical😂) & enjoyed the early sunset eating some dorayaki we found on the walk down🍡🤤.

There’s sooo much more to do here, but sometimes slowing down is the whole point. We definitely would come back again & are already planning the next visit 💁‍♀️

This year changed me. I went into the year of the snake knowing I’d have to shift & grow, but nothing could’ve prepared me for what that really meant 🌱🐍

2025 was one of the hardest years of my life, but it was also filled with moments I’ll never forget. Little lights during very dark parts of my personal journey.

I worked hard shedding old ways of living to make space for a healthier approach to life. I fought through changing hormones, chaotic schedules, & learning how to truly rest. Only now am I starting to feel love for myself again & like I’m slowly getting it right.

In January, I was diagnosed with PCOS, a lifelong syndrome that forced me to change so much about how I live. There were stretches of this year where I didn’t recognize the body I was in, learning to navigate constant hormonal shifts & unfamiliar reflections.

I couldn’t have done this without my best friend . From talking me through my hardest days to our spa days that somehow always turned into soup days, I’m endlessly grateful for her & her love 🧖‍♀️🍲

I let go of people & things that no longer fit. The year of the snake made those lessons painfully clear & impossible to ignore.

Most of all, I learned what loving myself truly means. Being gentler on hard days, more compassionate toward others fighting quiet battles, & prioritizing rest & nourishment so lows didn’t turn into rock bottom.

I’m grateful for the hardships of 2025. Even when I asked “why me,” I can now see the why. I made it through the tunnel & found the light again.

Thank you to my people, you know who you are, & to this community for always supporting me & reminding me my work matters. I love you all & hope 2026 is full of joy & abundance 💖

Five night at one of the most iconic venues in the world.

Photographing Unity x Tomorrowland for was unreal. From the scale of the visuals to the energy in the room, every night felt bigger than the last. Grateful to witness and capture moments like this.

Feels like I can cross another bucket list item off of my list 🥹 I never imagined I’d see my work posted on the Tomorrowland feed let alone for the Sphere🥹

Last week with & 💧

I got to photograph 4 activations throughout the event space over the course of 2 days. Photographing attendees interacting within the space, hydrating at the HydraCompound, and playing the interactive games was so much fun.

Truly grateful for this opportunity & especially thankful to get to work with my bestie 💖
