Always will be a special place in my heart

Today I got to talk about London and as someone who grew up here, it always takes me back to all the fun time I had at every corners of this great city.

Also realized that I didn’t actually have photos from this session on Instagram so I thought I’d post this. Getting think of this place even more as I am heading to Europe this week.

My new camera just in time for this trip but the lens didn’t.
So I quickly turned to for XCD 2.5/55V

And we went on the three days session
- Grand Canyon
- Sedona
- Monument Valley
- Page (Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend & Lake Powell)
- Secret Antelope Canyon
- Las Vegas

First the camera,
I’ve tested this camera extensively before purchasing and knew it was for me. But still had to be intentional about a lot of things I do and absolutely loved that it made me slow down and think more before taking shots. The exposure and WB were much more accurate because of slower process, but the focus speed and night time focusing during the astrophotography were so quick thanks to the LiDAR.

About the Session,
You probably know I do a lot of two days engagement session, but I don’t do too many three days. This was pretty intense. But the weather was so nice and was happy with all the shots we were able to get.

Instead of doing 100 guests wedding,
We go and get married just you and I on top of Zion
Stay at our favourite glamping spot, Autocamp
And play some tennis after surrounded by amazing Zion landscape

Happy 1st Anniversary you two!!
(I'm sorry I am two days late)

A little more than a year ago, these two reached out to me for a wedding / elopement in Las Vegas. And my gosh they had so many ideas which I love because that means they are happy to share their stories and personalities with the world.

Even just looking at photos, you could probably see what they were into; cars.
They wanted the legal marriage at a drive thru chapel on FERRARI but also wanted their private vows with no one around and it was so cute.

Cannot believe it has been a year already.
Always wishing you the happiest time together and yes we are due for a meet up in Chicago, coming your way soon 🫰

Just in case you didn't know I am currently at WPPI.

WPPI stands for Wedding and Portraiture Photography International.
It's one of the biggest wedding-related photography conventions in the world.

In this event I learn from the best in the world and I have been fortunate to learn from them for the past decade or so. I thank a lot to everyone at WPPI for making my journey possible and so great.

What does this mean? I block off this entire week and do not take any clients because this is my learning time, my learning weekend. We just have a lot of time just learning about different things and levelling up. Any couples who are getting photographed after this event usually means that higher standard of work.

I am so looking forward to working pretty much right away this Friday. I am off to Zion for an adventure elopement next week. I am in the Grand Canyon for three days doing a little bit more of an engagement session; it was more like a pre-wedding session.
