“I would tell my younger self
to protect my peace. I tell that to my students now. That means controlling what you can actually control ans not dwelling on things that are out of your control. Give those to God and move on. It looks like saying no to others if it means saying yes to yourself sometimes. It looks like making sure your cup is full/getting filled before trying to pour into others. It means knowing your boundaries and upholding them. It means letting go of things and people that stunt your growth (physically, mentally, spiritually, wtvr). This has all been so clutch for me over the last few years.”
