There’s something about holding a brand-new life in your arms that makes the world slow down for just a moment. The tiny fingers wrapped around yours, the little stretches, the sleepy breaths, and that sweet newborn scent you wish you could bottle up forever.

As a photographer, I get the privilege of preserving these fleeting moments—but as a mother, I know just how quickly they become memories.
