Another Free Portraits at the Market day in Las Cruces.

This community portrait project has been so fulfilling for me. It’s a reminder that art is meant to be shared, and that everyone deserves access to a really good photo of themselves.

I love getting to meet people, give them the experience of stepping into a portrait studio right in the middle of the market, and then hand edit every single portrait afterward.

I got so many questions about how I set up my free portrait pop-up at the market, so here’s the full breakdown.

From my camera and lighting setup to my backdrop, tech, editing workflow, and how I get the finished portraits to people, this is everything working behind the scenes to make the process as smooth as possible.

I bring my studio, you show up at the Las Cruces Farmer & Crafts Market! No catch, completely free to our community.

Last one was such a success, I have a feeling I’ll be having double the amount of people. Meaning wait time may be a tad longer. Wear sunscreen and stay hydrated!
