Gary Gum is the owner and photographer of TopGum Photography in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He transitioned to photography after a 40-year career as a registered nurse. Gary first developed an interest in photography during his time as a travel nurse in the 1980s to capture the beauty around the hospitals where he worked. Recognition and Exhibitions: Gary's photography has been recognized by various p

restigious organizations, including New Mexico Magazine, Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, Art Square Gallery of New York, Arizona Highways Magazine, Exhibizone, Gardenia 2024, and the New Mexico Cancer Center. He participated in the "Art of Healing" exhibition at the New Mexico Cancer Center in 2020-2021. Artistic Approach: Gary attributes his eye for detail and subtle color changes to his training as a nurse. He employs a variety of techniques in both taking and editing his photographs to achieve the uniqueness of his art.
