Still here. Still shootin’ and editin’ 😂

Had an absolute whirlwind of a few weeks flying into New York to attend my cousin’s wedding, driving down to Pennsylvania for my sister-in-law’s maternity photos, and then finished with a few days in Knoxville, Tennessee for some sessions.

A Celebration of Life for Sox🩷

Sox has had two owners in his life, and Kenna has been the second🩷 she got Sox as a present in her mid teens and he’s been her special boy ever since. His first owner lives just down the road and he still sports her brand.

I love spending the time to follow your old guy in the pasture and try to make art of him while he follows me around and *boinks* into my camera lens. It’s truly special to photograph your senior on their good days and see the sparks of their younger selves behind the aging eyes🩷

Hey there! I’m Olivia Long. I am a photographer, artist and lover of all things carbs and outdoors. If you love adventure and sunsets and would love to laugh at me as I “neigh” at your horse to get their attention for a photo, or want to laugh with your partner at a fun prompt then please keep enjoying this quick little back story!

24 years ago I was born into a photographer family on a rainy 4th of July. My father was a professional photographer and president of a photographer’s club in New York, which is how he met my mother, an amazing amateur photographer.

I had a fairly normal childhood. However, I was home schooled (so I’m just automatically weird) and I did have an odd habit of pulling my father’s prosthetic leg off and hiding it from him. But that has nothing to do with photography... ;)

I took my “first photo” when I was about 2. It was of my mom and quite blurry(as to be expected from a 2 year old), but I think it gave them pride that I was following in their footsteps.
