First time spending fall in SF… these pics from a couple springs ago remind me of how fast the seasons go by, yet how we can also slow down and be present in each moment. It’s so weird that it’s still sunny and warm in SF ?!!! I feel like photo season is kind of wrapped up in Oregon; Once October starts, it begins to pour and the ground is crispy in the morning with grass and fallen leaves all coated in ice. In the Bay Area, we can still take photos with our jackets off. I can’t wait to take some seasonal photos in the next few weeks, it’s been a lot of fun location scouting spots with the best autumnal energy Marin has to offer.

Also to be real; I’ve taken over an hour to make this post😂 I don’t want to be someone that copies and pastes an AI captions. My adhd craves perfectionism (all or nothing mentality) but it also helps my passion for creativity and I want to respect that. ❣️

I remembered I had promised to share the horse photos!!! Alison and I had such a whimsical experience on Horse Hill a couple months ago. I’m in love with the golden landscape here in Marin, and I thought we might catch a few horses in the background of our shoot… until they walked right up to us!!! We tried to be pretty still and they kept walking around us, sniffing and posing for the camera hehehe. Such a magical experience. I’ve been up there a couple times since then and I’d love to go back soon for another shoot, the views of the city are also incredible :)

Sepia by the sea 🐚
The climate differences throughout the Bay Area are so interesting with the fog. We met high up in the headlands and were in a raincloud, then left to Tiburon (around a 10 minute drive) where it was sunny, warm, blue sky and all. It’s like this all the time in between the Golden Gate Bridge and Mill Valley (just a few minutes distance)! (Yes I’m new here.) Karl is funny (the fog’s name is Karl). Also, the pic where everyone is standing on the rock is giving family with superpowers vibes.
