A sweet and adventurous family, right in their own stomping grounds.
Dad’s bus, as they called it. Bare feet they were still “breaking in” for summer. A familiar place to play, climb, laugh, and simply be together.
I didn’t need to create much here. I set the scene, and then mostly just followed along as the kids played and goofed around and this family settled into their own rhythm.
We weren’t trying to manufacture a version of their life for the camera. We were spending a little time in a place that already felt like home to them.
I even hitched a ride in Dad’s bus—getting to experience a little more of their world and the easy harmony they share.
Sometimes that’s all I really want from a session: to step into someone’s world for a while, pay attention, and preserve a little piece of what it feels like to be there.
