Sometimes a wedding day is so beautiful and heartfelt that we hope all the emotions and beauty are accurately represented in the photos we take. I couldn't help but think multiple times throughout the day "I hope I'm doing this justice" because WOW.

Whitney and Alex had their wedding at Whitney's childhood home. Their ceremony was nestled back in the woods, string lights strung down the entire aisle. So much blood, sweat and tears went into making this day happen and it was incredible to see all of that hard work come together.

And if you can't tell how deeply these two are loved by their family and friends, look through the photos again.

Because I think the love in these images might just be my favorite part.

Yes, choosing everyone’s outfits will probably make you question every decision you’ve ever made.

Yes, your kids might be feral (not these two angels, my goodness these girls were a dream).

Yes, bring the dog even if you have absolutely no idea how they’re going to behave.

Do the thing anyway.

Because these are the years you’ll blink and realize they’re not little anymore. The faces will change, the hair will change, the personalities will keep growing, and someday you’ll be so thankful you have photos of this version of your family.

You don’t need everyone to be thrilled about the photoshoot. You just need to get everyone there. 😂🤍

Nine years, so much distance, and somehow they’ve made loving each other look effortless.

Katey and Ross finally got to celebrate the kind of day they’ve been waiting a long time for, surrounded by the people who love them most. Their little chapel tucked away in the woods was the perfect setting, with the prettiest shades of pink (seriously can't get over the all the pink! 😍).

You could feel just how loved these two are in every moment of their wedding day. And after knowing each other for nine years, they still have that easy, completely natural kind of love that makes you smile just watching them together.

So happy for you two. ❤️
