Next weekend I will be in Kalispell, Montana to photograph Charisse & Tim’s wedding. I am beyond excited! I have been taking a break from social media for the last couple of months, but with the 2021 season about to kick off in full swing , I will be sharing many images of upcoming shoots/ weddings and of the amazing couples I got to work with recently.

The past Sunday I joined Trisha and Marc for a sunrise hike up to Dream Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park for their engagement photos. I was hoping for decent conditions, but when we arrived we were greeted with icy wind gusts. We decided to take our chances and head up to the lake anyway and see if we might get lucky with the elements and hopefully to get some beautiful alpenglow hitting Hallet Peak in the west.

Unfortunately, conditions did not improve and we had to face the wind and the cold! Trisha and Marc had such a positive attitude about it though and we managed to get some great shots in short bursts before they had to layer up again. Afterward, we decided to head to other parts of the park to get some more photographs we missed during the chaotic windy session earlier. Even though it was still cold and windy we definitely were happy to have escaped and also get some sunshine! These are two beautiful, very interesting, and adventurous people and it was lovely getting to know them! Their wedding at Pastures of Plenty Farm in Longmont is going to be so beautiful in the summer!

Nikki and Scott wanted to have their engagement session photographed in LoDo, Denver’s oldest neighborhood. I usually do my engagement sessions in nature, but I was very happy that I had the opportunity to push myself to be more creative in an urban environment. We started at the Wynkoop bridge, then made our way to Union Station, and finally headed to Larimer Square to wrap up the session. They are such lovely, down-to-earth people and I had a great time with them during the shoot! I think these photos turned out super cute! Looking forward to their summer wedding at Camp Hale!

This past Saturday brought snow to the Front Range, and not just any snow, it was perfect snow that fell gently. There was also no wind with cold, but manageable temperatures. Perfect for an engagement session I'd say! Bailey and Sterling got in touch with me just a couple days before and she wanted to get an engagement session done ASAP since she had to travel back to Oklahoma on Sunday to wrap up her 2021 grad school studies. I'm very happy things worked out! Looking forward to photographing their wedding at Grant-Humphrey's Mansion in the spring!

I had the honor to photograph Scott and Cory’s intimate backyard wedding in Boulder this past Saturday. It was a beautiful and emotionally charged ceremony surrounded by their close family. I’m so happy for you both! I’m looking forward to the bigger celebration with all your friends next year!
