Listen—this just needed a digital spot on here. My William J. I love this 6 year old toothless stage. I also want to you remind you to just take the iPhone photo ❤️ because this is my new favorite photo of him, shot while we headed to watch the sunset, with my outdated iPhone on portrait mode. My heart ❤️

I have booked up all available time slots between now and Fall!! I decided to take part of my summer off this year. I am both excited and also fear FOMO…not sure how I could with these two. I’ll have open availability starting in late August/early September. Also my kids are growing up too fast—😩

It was time to make my reel NOT the first thing you see when you come here 🤣 So here’s something better! In a crazy turn of events, the couple who modeled this for me are now my neighbors!
If you know me, you know my lack of wanting to share on social media—but this bouquet deserves a permanent spot!

I shared this in my stories a couple days ago, and felt like it needed a more permanent spot. Here’s why—for one, this photo is beautiful, and I want to make a canvas of it for my own home (🤣) BUT it’s a great representation of a few things you should know. 1) Let your photographer guide you. You DO NOT EVER have to show up knowing what to do!!! You are paying us for a reason! 2) If you want this look as far as lighting goes, then you have to be okay with shooting close to sunset. In the summer, that means it’s pretty late!! 3) HAVE FUN!!! Loosen up a little! These are family photos, not a root canal 😂 You should feel like the time went by too fast, and I encourage ice cream or dinner afterward 👏🏼 and lastly 4) For those with kids…I also have kids. Solidarity, my friend. Keep expectations low, and excitement high. Encourage kids to follow MY instruction, and trust the process!! Pretend to not even pay attention to them when I’m photographing them. They actually always do better, even the clingy ones (like my Kate). We as photographers care about these photos just as much as you do, if not more! ❤️

My sister-in-law, who was one of my childhood best friends, got married Saturday. It feels like Peter has been a part of the family since the beginning, so much so, that William has called them “Uncle Peter and his friend.” When I FaceTimed home to tell William that uncle Peter and his friend got married, he said “FINALLY!” So—welcome to the family, Tammara 😂 It was a beautiful wedding! These are just a few of the detail/couple shots to showcase their day!

Excitement and anticipation filled the air, and each person that was ushered to their seat was beaming from ear to ear. You'll never meet anyone else like Alley and Eric. They are truly magnetic. Although I felt their pull even during our first FaceTime, seeing their family and friends glowing with admiration confirmed my feelings. It explains why people travelled from all over the world to attend this wedding! They are magnetic and you'll never meet anyone else like them.”
