i missed the shot that mattered most.

spent three hours in the cold waiting for that raven to turn. when it finally did, my focus locked on the branch behind it. sharp twigs, blurry bird.

sitting here now at 11pm, staring at what could've been, i'm reminded that this work isn't about perfection. it's about showing up, learning, and trying again tomorrow.

every print in my shop has a story like this behind it. failures that taught me something.

For every keeper, there's a memory card full of blurry wings, bad light, and moments I was half a second too late.

That's the real work. The patience. The learning.

My desk isn't fancy. My gear has scratches. But every failed frame teaches me something about the next one.
