A little bit of tire smoke, speed and all-around chaos captured on 800T by .grain

We love how 800T gives a very particular vibe when shot at night with the contrasty look, cool shadows and of course the bright-red halation that Cinestill is famous for.

N THE NEWS 📰 | Is your archive really protected? A PBS station recently lost access to decades of archival material after its cloud storage provider went out of business.

It’s an important reminder: **digitizing is only the first step.** Multiple backups and secure storage are essential for protecting photos, videos, and history for the future.

These photos are from of one of our favorite film stocks: Harman Switch Azure! It is an experimental, creative film stock, that flips & rearranges colors which creates a surreal look that we love. If you're bored of your run of the mill film stocks, or simply looking for something off the wall, we recommend you try it out. We currently carry it in 35 and 120 formats, get it while supplies last!

There’s something special about finishing a roll of film and waiting to see what you captured. 🎞️

From processing and developing to finally seeing your images come to life, every roll has its own character—the grain, the tones, the little imperfections that make your photos uniquely yours.

And when you find that perfect shot? Don’t just leave it on a screen. Print it. Frame it. Enjoy it. https://www.lansingcamera.com/site/services/film-development

Some gifts get returned. Some get forgotten by February. But the gift of preserved memories? That one lasts forever.

This holiday season, help the people you love hold onto what matters most — old home movies, fading photographs, slides tucked away in a closet, VHS tapes no one has a player for anymore. These aren't just files. They're first steps, wedding dances, birthdays with grandparents who are no longer here. They're irreplaceable.

That's exactly why the "gift" of digitizing deserves to be treated differently than anything else on your list.
