Another chapter complete. 🎓📸

Justice recently finished her Master of Social Work and graduated from Spring Arbor University, so we had to make sure this milestone was documented the right way.

Grad sessions are always special because there’s so much behind that cap and gown. Long nights, assignments, sacrifices, moments of doubt, and eventually that feeling of knowing you actually made it.

Justice came ready, and SAU gave us plenty to work with. From clean portraits to campus shots and a few creative details, we made sure her gallery felt like more than just “graduation pictures.”

Man… when the light shows up like this, you just let it do what it came to do. 😮‍💨🌅📸

This session was a little more personal because the subject happens to be my wife. ❤️ Danielle is carrying our third little blessing, and between that glow, the black dress, and that sunset in the background… the whole scene came together beautifully.

That’s one of my favorite things about maternity photography. You’re not just taking pictures of a pregnancy. You’re documenting a chapter that goes by way faster than it feels while you’re living it.

And yes, I’m biased 😂 but my baby was GLOWING.

Class of 2027 🎓📸

Liyah came ready to make her senior session feel like her.

We mixed a little elegance, a little personality, and a little glimpse into what’s next. From the books and stethoscope to the lake, flowers, and those boots, every setup gave us a different side of her story.

ANIMAL MENTALITY. 🦍🔥

Jabari’s story carries weight.

From childhood trauma, to incarceration, to now walking a path rooted in faith, discipline, and redemption, he’s living proof that where you’ve been does not have to decide where you’re going.

What stood out to me most during this shoot was the perseverance behind the physique. The strength is visible, but the mentality behind it is what really tells the story. 💪🏾🧠🏁

Now he’s taking that same mindset into something bigger. Training. Growth. Accountability. Helping other people push past the version of themselves they thought they were stuck with.

That’s where Animal Mentality comes in.

It’s more than just a brand on a shirt. It represents the decision to keep fighting, keep building, and keep moving forward no matter what life has thrown at you.⚾️🏟️

Yesterday was beautiful.🥹🤌🏾

I’ve been friends with Tesha since we were teenagers, so this one felt personal in the best way. She’s always been like a sister to me, and being able to stand behind the camera and capture one of the biggest days of her life was an honor.🏆

And Jermaine has always been such a genuine soul. From the beginning, we connected naturally and have been locked in ever since.🤞🏾

To see two good people find each other, choose each other, and step into this next chapter surrounded by love was special.🫶🏾💒

🎓SENIORS — your session doesn’t have to stay inside four walls. 📸🌅

When Amariana hit me up about her senior pictures, she already knew she wanted to do something different from the traditional studio session.

She wanted to get outside.

She wanted a location that actually meant something to her.

So we packed up the gear and took this senior session all the way to Tunnel Park in Holland, Michigan. 🏖️🚘

And fam… we WORKED for these. 😂😮‍💨

Sand. Dunes. Beach grass. A million steps up to the overlook. Back down to the water. Outfit changes. External lighting. Sunset chasing. And eventually getting right into Lake Michigan to finish the session.✨

🤰🏽Wifey came along with me and was an absolute TROOPER — helping with lighting and hauling gear up and down those steps while we chased every bit of that golden-hour light. 😂💪🏾

But THIS is why I love on-location senior sessions.😌

Cameron came into his senior session ready to make it his own 🥋📸 🥷 💥 ♏️

Instead of going with a typical senior look, we leaned into something he’s passionate about: martial arts. The red belt, the weapons, the open field, and that larger-than-life tree gave the whole session a cinematic feel.

Senior photos should show more than what you look like. They should represent your personality, your discipline, and the things that helped shape you along the way.
